This weekend I had a going away party for my family and friends. It was so nice to get to see everyone before I head to China next week. To put everyone in the Chinese spirit we had Chinese fruit, candies, fortune cookies, drinks, desserts, and decorations. It was nice to see everyone trying new things, even if they didn’t like them. Shout out to my aunt for trying the green Kit-Kats, “It’s very earthy” she said.
I am so thankful to have such a caring and supportive family. It was a bittersweet way to end my time in America. Thank you to everyone who came and wished me well on this new journey!
